The player, represented by the Teddy is only meant to jump. Beware, a jump does not only mean a change in position upwards and then instantly back, there is also a moment called "Apex" where the player is in full repo, which means no forces actually act upon it for a slight second. In other words, there should be a time delay between when the Teddy goes up and when it begins to go down.
